Mountain bikers, cycle tourists or road cyclists, you will have access to all levels of difficulty. From 35 to 150 km in distance and from 35 to 2050 meters of altitude difference, there is something for all legs. Mountain bike enthusiasts, 112 marked and FFC-labeled circuits await you, with 1,400 km in total, ranging from beginner to more experienced level.

The Mille Etangs region is one of the treasures of the Ballons des Vosges Natural Park. Scattered over 220 km2, from Lure to Faucogney-et-la-Mer, via Melisey, Servance, the Col des Croix and the Ballon de Servance, the Mille Etangs are located in the heart of superb landscapes, made up of meadows , moors, bodies of water and streams, and green forests.

The magic of a ray of sunlight crossing the undergrowth, drops of rain bouncing from branch to branch, the delicious sound of your footsteps in the fresh snow or the buzzing of bees, on a country path... breathe, you are in the forests and countryside of Epinal, in the heart of the Vosges.

A must-see waterfall site in the Valley of Lakes, the Saut des Cuves is a natural site where the Vologne river cascades among large blocks of granite in successive falls. The tank jump is the most important.
A few steps away, you can discover the Pont des Fées rebuilt in 1782, the Pierre Charlemagne (legend suggests that Charlemagne's horse left its mark there) as well as the Marie-Louise Islands.

Lake Gérardmer is the largest natural lake in the Vosges. It is located at an altitude of 660m. Surface area: 115ha, maximum length 2200m, maximum width: 750m, maximum depth: 38.40m. Lake of glacial origin.
It has a 6km marked hiking trail. Supervised swimming at Union Nautique beach from June to September. Possibility of unsupervised swimming in several natural areas. Many water activities are offered on the lake. Only boats without a motor or with an electric motor are authorized.

Lake of glacial origin crossed by the Vologne, at an altitude of 736 m, it stretches over 76 ha in the direction of the valley. Its maximum dimensions are 1950 m in length by 550 m in width and a depth of 34 m.
Since 2002, the lake and its surroundings, covering an area of ​​900 hectares, have been classified as remarkable Natural Monument sites to sustainably safeguard the identity and beauty of the Longemer site.

Le Hohneck is located in the commune of La Bresse at 1363m above sea level. From its summit, the highest in the Vosges department, you will overlook the Alsace plain and see the Black Forest and even the Alps on a clear day.

The Roche du Diable site, located on the Route du Col de La Schlucht, offers a breathtaking view of the Valley of Lakes and in particular of the lakes of Longemer and Retournemer.

The Tendon waterfall, the longest waterfall in the Vosges, is a miraculous oasis of freshness. Drowned in the woods, it surges over around thirty meters, polishing its stone sides.

Two options are available to you to reach the Petite Cascade de Tendon: on foot via the 2 km marked trail which leads you to the Petite Cascade, by car, taking the route towards Épinal.
